We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Probate and Guardianship Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate brings familiarity with estate planning, probate administration, and guardianship proceedings, exceptional organizational skills, and a compassionate, professional approach to client communications.

Draft, review, and file probate and guardianship pleadings, petitions, inventories, accountings, and related legal documents.
Draft and review estate planning documents.
Manage cases independently from initial intake through final administration and closure.
Maintain direct, empathetic communication with clients, beneficiaries, guardians, and court personnel.
Coordinate court hearings, manage calendar deadlines, and ensure strict compliance with statutory timeframes.
Conduct asset searches, marshal estate assets, and assist with real estate or financial transfers as needed.
Experience: Minimum of [e.g., 2–5+] years of dedicated probate and guardianship paralegal experience.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local probate court rules, statutory procedures, and estate administration processes.
Bilingual: Spanish and Creole preferred.
Software: Proficiency in legal case management software (e.g., Lexis, MyCase) and probate form software.
Skills: Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time-management skills.
Professionalism: High degree of discretion, integrity, and client empathy.
NOTARY. Preferred.
Compensation
$42,000 - $55,000 yearly
