• Support attorneys in all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and protective order cases.

• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, financial statements, and correspondence.

• Maintain case files and manage deadlines with strong attention to detail.

• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

• Assist with trial preparation, mediation preparation, and hearing organization.

• Help clients feel informed, supported, and organized during difficult periods in their lives.

• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

• Minimum 2+ years of Maryland family law paralegal experience required.

• Experience with required billable hours.

• Experience with discovery matters.

• Experience supporting attorneys in litigation matters and courtroom preparation.

• Strong organization, writing, and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented and highly reliable.

• Ability to manage emotionally sensitive situations professionally and calmly.

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a team.

• Genuinely care about doing excellent work and helping clients move forward.

• A sense of humor and positive perspective. Focus on solutions, not problems.
