Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court standards.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide attorneys with relevant information.
- Manage client communications, maintaining a professional and empathetic approach to address their inquiries and concerns.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
- Draft and proofread legal correspondence and pleadings, maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
- Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documentation is current and easily accessible for the legal team.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies, offering insights and suggestions based on research and analysis.
Qualifications
- Experience in preparing and organizing legal documents with precision and adherence to court standards.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies effectively.
- Proven track record of managing client communications with professionalism and empathy.
- Skill in coordinating and scheduling legal meetings, hearings, and depositions efficiently.
- Proficiency in drafting and proofreading legal correspondence and pleadings with attention to detail.
- Experience in maintaining and updating case files, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate with attorneys to develop insightful case strategies based on research and analysis.
Compensation
$24 - $27/hour
