Halligan LLC is seeking a skilled and highly organized Family Law Paralegal to support our growing practice. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with at least two years of family law experience who can confidently manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy under pressure, and provide exceptional support throughout the lifecycle of a case. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with attorneys and clients while helping families navigate complex and often emotionally challenging legal matters.

Please note: Applicants must reside in Colorado. Candidates located outside of Colorado will not be considered.
- Conduct legal research and gather supporting information to assist attorneys with case preparation and litigation strategy
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, document management, and other litigation support activities as needed
- Prepare, review, and organize legal documents, including Sworn Financial Statements, Rule 16.2 disclosures, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining professional communication and ensuring timely collection of case-related information and documentation
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, collect documentation, and support a positive client experience during challenging legal matters
- Support attorneys in all phases of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, maintenance, and property division cases
- Maintain accurate case files, calendars, deadlines, and court-related documentation with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Colorado family law procedures, court rules, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with clients
- Minimum of 2 years of family law experience in a law firm environment
- Experience preparing legal documents, financial disclosures, discovery materials, and court filings
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and case management skills
- Paralegal certificate, paralegal degree, or equivalent combination of legal education and experience preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate work in a deadline-driven environment
Compensation
$59,000 - $67,000 yearly
