Wayne Overhead Door Sales & Home Improvements is seeking a friendly, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator / Customer Service Representative to join our team.

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will play an important role in providing exceptional customer service and keeping our daily office operations running smoothly.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can handle multiple responsibilities, and thrives in a busy office environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

• Assist experienced technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial overhead doors.

• Learn proper installation techniques for sectional overhead doors, rolling steel doors, and garage door operators.

• Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

• Help install and replace door components, including tracks, rollers, hinges, cables, and springs under proper supervision.

• Learn how to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and installation equipment.

• Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.

• Prepare job sites and maintain clean, organized work areas.

• Follow instructions from lead technicians and supervisors.

• Assist with preventative maintenance and safety inspections.

• Learn to read work orders, measure openings, and identify materials needed for installations.

• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean and organized condition.

• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.

• Develop the skills necessary to eventually perform installations and service work independently.

• No previous overhead door experience required.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning a skilled trade.

• Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read a tape measure or willingness to learn.

• Willingness to work on ladders, aerial lifts, and at heights while following proper safety procedures.

• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, and working overhead.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work.

• Ability to follow directions and learn from experienced technicians.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as experience grows.

Construction, mechanical, maintenance, or general labor experience is helpful but not required.
