Legend Equipment is seeking a highly organized and quality-driven Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our upfitting and installation shop. This role is responsible for managing workflow, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, and, most importantly, maintaining the highest level of quality control across all work.

The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering a flawless final product, keeps a clean and efficient shop, and holds the team accountable to high standards.

Shop Operations & Workflow

• Manage and coordinate the daily workflow of all shop projects

• Ensure jobs are completed on time and on schedule

• Communicate with team members to keep production moving efficiently

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the shop
  

Quality Control (Primary Focus)

• Inspect all completed work to ensure it meets company standards

• Ensure all vehicles leave the shop:

• Clean

• Undamaged

• Completed to the highest level of workmanship

• Catch and correct issues before delivery to the customer

• Maintain consistency across all installs and builds
  

Shop Organization & Cleanliness

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment

• Ensure tools, materials, and work areas are properly maintained

• Implement systems to keep the shop efficient and clutter-free
  

Team Leadership

• Lead and hold technicians accountable for quality and productivity

• Provide guidance and support to installers and shop staff

• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

• Assist with training and developing team members

• Experience in a shop environment (automotive, truck equipment, fabrication, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proven ability to manage workflow and meet deadlines
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to identify and solve problems quickly
• Strong organizational skills
