Operations Manager
Langston Security & Integration • Peoria, AZ, US
Posted 1 hour ago
We’re seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead the people, processes, systems, and resources that move our work from sold-job handoff through planning, scheduling, field execution, client communication, quality control, documentation, billing readiness, and closeout.
This is not a position for someone who wants to manage from a distance. The right leader will understand the details of day-to-day operations, build trust with office and field teams, create accountability, improve processes, protect client commitments, and help LSI grow profitably without losing the high-touch service and family-owned culture that set us apart.
We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to own Operations for the long term. This role is best suited for a leader who finds purpose in developing people, strengthening systems, solving operational problems, and producing a positive impact for the team and clients.
At Langston Security & Integration (LSI), we specialize in advanced security and audio-visual systems for commercial, enterprise-level, healthcare, and multi-site properties/property management. Here, you won't just fill a role; you'll build a career, lead key teams, and make a visible impact every day in a supportive culture that values professional growth and work-life balance.
What Success Looks Like
Operations priorities are transitioned into clear plans, owners, deadlines, and consistent follow-through.
Project Management, Client Support, Field Operations, and Warehouse/Inventory functions work together with fewer gaps and stronger handoffs.
Employees understand expectations, receive practical coaching, and are held accountable in a fair and consistent manner.
ServiceTitan and other company systems contain timely, accurate, and useful operational information.
Client concerns are addressed promptly, professionally, and through completion.
Operational risks involving schedules, labor, materials, budgets, quality, safety, or client commitments are identified early and actively managed.
Processes become more repeatable and scalable while the team remains flexible enough to respond to changing business needs.
The Leader We Are Looking For
A strong, approachable people leader who earns the respect of both office and field employees.
An excellent communicator who is positive, direct, professional, and comfortable addressing difficult issues when necessary.
Highly process-oriented and organized, without becoming rigid or resistant to change.
Adaptable and able to pivot smoothly as priorities, schedules, and client needs change.
A quick learner and strong student of the business who is curious about systems, technology, clients, and industry practices.
Customer-service-minded and capable of stepping into escalated client situations with sound judgment and follow-through.
A practical partner in strategy and innovation who can convert ideas into workable processes, training, system changes, and measurable adoption.
Comfortable working at both the leadership level and in the operational details.
Motivated by long-term ownership of Operations rather than viewing the role primarily as a stepping stone to an executive title.
Compensation:
Salary Range - $90,000 - $105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
Annual Profit-Sharing Bonus Opportunities
Medical, Dental, Life, and Voluntary Accidental Insurance
401(k) Retirement Plan with 100% Company Match up to 4%
Section 125 Health Plan designed to help employees maximize take-home pay
Paid Time Off
Arizona Earned Paid Sick Time
Employee Recognition Program with peer-nominated bonus incentives
Team-building events and company celebrations throughout the year
Employee and Verizon Wireless discounts
Additional fringe benefits may be available based on position

If you are an experienced operational leader who wants to build a strong team, improve the business, deliver an exceptional client experience, and make a visible long-term impact at LSI, we encourage you to apply.

Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving, background, and pre-employment screening requirements.

Knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion/alarm, audiovisual, networking, or related integrated systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
Bachelor's degree in business, operations, construction management, or related field; equivalent relevant industry and leadership experience will be considered.
