Occupational Therapist Assistants - After School

South Florida Autism Center, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants to provide therapy in an after-school clinic to individuals diagnosed with autism who are ages 3 and older.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Pay Rate: $31 - $33 per hour

• Benefits: This position does not include benefits or paid time off.

Job Duties

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Implement treatment plans addressing fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills.

• Document therapy sessions and client progress accurately and timely.

• Collaborate with therapists, staff, and families to support individual therapy goals.

Requirements

• Current Florida license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

• Experience working with children and/or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Must successfully complete a Level 2 background screening.
