Our ICF/IID facility serves medically fragile children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and we’re looking for compassionate, dependable people to join our team in two important roles:
Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Provide hands-on residential support while helping the individuals we serve experience comfort, safety, dignity, independence, and joy in their everyday lives.
Evening Habilitation Technician (Evening Tech)
Help make evenings at Casa Angelica engaging and enjoyable by facilitating activities and creating opportunities for fun, connection, participation, and meaningful experiences.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Direct Support Professionals provide hands-on care and daily living support to residents in our residential setting. DSPs are an essential part of each resident’s care team, helping promote safety, comfort, dignity, independence, and overall quality of life.
This role includes supporting residents with their medical, physical, emotional, and personal care needs while helping create a safe, supportive, and respectful home environment.
DSP Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and positioning
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and individualized attention
- Monitor residents’ physical condition, behaviors, moods, and overall well-being
- Follow individualized care plans, treatment recommendations, and established safety protocols
- Assist with meals, hydration, and daily routines
- Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and structured residential environment
- Accurately document care provided and promptly communicate concerns or changes to nursing staff and supervisors
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, QIDPs, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Evening Habilitation Technician
Evening Habilitation Technicians support residents during structured evening programming focused on skill-building, recreation, socialization, community inclusion, and meaningful engagement.
Evening Techs help residents access and participate in activities in ways that work for their individual abilities and needs. This position is ideal for someone who is creative, adaptable, and able to think outside the box when helping residents engage with their environment, build skills, explore interests, and participate in their community.
Evening Habilitation Technician Responsibilities
- Help facilitate recreational, sensory, educational, social, and skill-building activities
- Help residents access and engage with their environment through creative, individualized approaches and appropriate ADA accommodations
- Encourage participation, independence, confidence, and skill development
- Create and facilitate arts and crafts and other hands-on activities
- Support residents during community outings, group activities, and field trips
- Assist with behavioral supports and positive reinforcement strategies
- Monitor resident engagement, behaviors, moods, and emotional well-being
- Help maintain a structured, safe, positive, and engaging evening program environment
Education
DSP: High School Diploma or GED required
Evening Habilitation Technician: (Hiring High School/College Students as well) High School Diploma or GED not required
Preferred Experience
Previous experience is welcomed, but we also recognize that compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn can be just as valuable.
Experience in caregiving, healthcare, direct support, evening habilitation, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required
CNA, HHA, CPR/First Aid, or other related certifications are a plus

Physical Requirements
Because these positions involve hands-on support, candidates must be able to:
Lift, transfer, reposition, and physically assist residents
Stand, walk, bend, and perform physical caregiving and support tasks throughout the shift
Additional Requirements
Successful completion of a criminal background check and reference verification
Valid driver’s license preferred, depending on position duties

Compensation
$15 - $17 hourly
