A mountain lift operator ensures the safe, efficient loading and unloading of guests on ski lifts, monitors machinery operation, and maintains queue mazes.

The Pine Mountain Ski and Golf Resort is hiring a Lift Operator. This is a part time role with weekend requirements.

• Safety & Operation: Operate lift controls, adjust speeds, conduct daily safety checks, and stop lifts in emergencies.

• Guest Assistance: Guide guests during loading and unloading, assist children or adaptive riders, and scan tickets if required.

• Maintenance & Upkeep: Shovel heavy snow, clear ice from ramps, and set up/tear down queue mazes and signage.

• Communication: Report mechanical issues to dispatch and coordinate with Ski Patrol during incidents.

• Physical Demands: Stand outdoors for long shifts in extreme cold and snow, and lift up to 40–50 pounds.

• Qualifications: Minimum age of 18 for operating heavy equipment; no prior experience needed as resorts provide training.

• Work Schedule: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak morning-to-late-afternoon shifts.
