We’re looking for someone who enjoys mortgage lending, wants to keep getting better at their craft, and wants to be part of a team where people work together and hold themselves to a high standard.

The Loan Partner 2 is a key member of the Ryan Hoffman Team and is responsible for helping move clients from application through closing. This role requires strong mortgage knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to solve problems before they become problems.

You’ll review loan applications and supporting documents, analyze income, assets, and credit, issue accurate pre-approvals, communicate with borrowers and Realtor partners, and help manage the active loan pipeline. You’ll work closely with Ryan, our processing team, underwriters, borrowers, and third parties to keep transactions moving and help ensure loans close on time.

This is not a basic administrative position. We’re looking for an experienced mortgage professional who can think through loan scenarios, understand guidelines, identify potential issues early, communicate confidently with clients and partners, and take ownership of getting things done. The goal is to resolve most issues independently while knowing when something needs to be escalated.

The right person will be organized, proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely enjoy helping people.

Responsibilities

Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc.
Act as the primary contact between our clients and our company and schedule and conduct meetings to discuss any follow-up issues or items that need to be addressed
Verify all loan package documentation received is accurate and complete in accordance with company policy and procedures and report any discrepancies to the loan originator/ loan officer

Qualifications

Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
College degree in finance or banking preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required
Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team
Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred

Compensation

$60,000 - $80,000 yearly
