Mortgage Loan Officer — Realtor Partnerships Provided
Most loan officer jobs hand you a comp plan and tell you to go find realtors. This one is built the other way around.
We generate the realtor relationships ourselves. We give real estate agents their own city pages on our platform — Elk River, Winter Park, Castle Rock, wherever they work — and we do the SEO work to get those pages ranking for their name and their market. Agents get something real from us before anyone asks them for a loan, and we have a full-time team member whose only job is making those calls and building that pipeline.
Your job is to take those relationships and turn them into loans.
You'll be handed partner agents rather than told to go find them. You'll have a monthly reason to call every one of them, because we send them performance reports on their pages. And you'll be selling something no other lender in the market is offering, which changes the conversation entirely.
Compensation is 2.25% less than $995 per closed loan. We're a broker shop, so you have access to the wholesale pricing and product breadth that comes with that, including investment property and DSCR financing.
We're small and building something. If you want a seat where your input actually shapes how the company operates, this is that seat. If you want a big-bank badge and a fixed playbook, it isn't.
Build and maintain relationships with a focused group of 10 to 20 partner real estate agents rather than chasing volume across a hundred
Deliver monthly performance reports to your partner agents and use them as a natural reason to stay in front of them
Conduct short recorded interviews with partner agents about their local markets, which become content on their pages
Originate residential mortgage loans from application through closing, keeping borrowers informed at every stage
Structure loans across conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and investment products including DSCR
Respond quickly to agent and borrower questions — speed is a competitive advantage in this business, and we treat it that way
Keep your pipeline and partner notes current in our platform so nothing falls through and anyone can pick up where you left off
Active NMLS license, or the ability to obtain one promptly
Licensed in Minnesota, Michigan, Florida, Texas, Colorado, or Georgia — or willing to license in one of those states
Two or more years of mortgage origination experience preferred, though a strong candidate coming from real estate or a related field will be considered
Comfortable building relationships with real estate agents and maintaining them over months, not just closing a transaction and moving on
Working knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and investment property guidelines
Organized enough to work a system — we'll give you the tools, but you have to actually use them
Self-directed. We're remote-friendly, and nobody is going to stand over your shoulder
Compensation
$100,000 - $150,000 yearly
Roseth Mortgage is a mortgage brokerage based in Elk River, Minnesota, licensed across six states and growing.
We're small on purpose, and we compete on something other than size. Rather than trying to outspend larger lenders, we built HomeSync — our own platform that gives real estate agents genuine local visibility. Agents claim the cities they work, we build and rank their pages, and they get a durable marketing asset no other lender is handing them. It's not a co-branded flyer. It's something that keeps working whether or not they send us a loan that month.
That's the strategy: give first, earn the relationship, let the business follow. Our best-producing loan officer built her book doing exactly that.
We believe fifteen strong agent relationships beat a hundred weak ones, and that technology should remove work rather than create it. We're independent, so decisions get made fast — and the person you'd work for is the person who owns the company.
