Responsibilities
Direct Client Care
- Provide individual, family, and/or couples therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain a consistent caseload while delivering compassionate, client-centered care.
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals when necessary.
Clinical Documentation
- Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments.
- Maintain client records in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
- Ensure documentation meets insurance and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration & Professional Development
- Collaborate with fellow clinicians and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and team meetings.
- Stay current on evidence-based practices through ongoing training and professional development.
- Contribute to a supportive, collaborative, and positive team culture.
Client & Community Support
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Educate clients and families on treatment goals, coping strategies, and available resources.
- Coordinate care with outside providers, schools, physicians, and community partners as appropriate.
Qualifications
Required
- Active Pennsylvania licensure as one of the following:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Licensed Psychologist.
- Experience providing psychotherapy services using evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, inclusive, and affirming mental health care.
Preferred
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families.
- Experience with a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, such as CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care, or mindfulness-based interventions.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ and transgender clients.
- Previous experience in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
Additional Requirements
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continued learning.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours as part of the practice's client-centered schedule.
- Ability to complete clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Compensation
$30,000 - $65,000/year
