We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Mental Health Biller to join our growing behavioral health practice. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of mental health billing and be able to independently manage claims, denials, AR, and insurance-related issues.

This position is located in the Philippines

• Manage end-to-end behavioral health billing

• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, authorizations, and provider network status

• Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims

• Work denials, appeals, and accounts receivable

• Review EOBs/ERAs and post payments accurately

• Identify and resolve billing issues before claims are submitted

• Communicate with insurance companies and navigate payer portals

• Review CPT/ICD-10 coding and documentation for billing accuracy

• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and maximize reimbursement

• Communicate with patients regarding insurance coverage, benefits, and billing-related issues

• 3+ years of medical billing experience

• Behavioral health/mental health billing experience strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, Medi-Cal, and Medicare

• Experience with claims, denials, appeals, and AR

• Strong understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes

• Experience with payer portals and clearinghouses

• SimplePractice experience preferred

• Comfortable speaking with patients regarding insurance and billing issues

• Excellent attention to detail and organization

• Proactive problem-solver who can work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage a high-volume workload
