As the first point of contact for many of our members, you’ll create meaningful connections, provide personalized club tours, and recommend membership and wellness programs that fit each individual’s lifestyle. Success in this role comes from genuine relationship building, community engagement, and delivering an outstanding member experience.

Our full-service athletic club needs someone with excellent customer service skills to develop relationships with prospects that lead to happy and satisfied members. Our ideal candidate has an understanding of our products and services, including general exercise equipment and wellness programs, along with the ability to prospect leads through telemarketing, cold calling, walk-ins, and member referrals. Responsibilities

  • Prospect leads through a variety of actions such as calling, texting, or emailing potential members and chatting with them at local events or when they walk in! – Build relationships with prospective members through phone calls, text, email, referrals, community outreach, and networking events.
  • Maintain long-term clientele, growing HFAC's membership through sales, new member onboarding, and excellence in ongoing service. – Support new member onboarding to ensure every member feels welcomed, connected, and successful from day one.
  • Learn and excel in using HFAC's club software (Club Automation) and CRM software (Gymsales) to manage workflow and content.
  • Provide excellent service to resolve problems and answer questions in a professional, warm, and caring way.
  • Work as a member of an overall team. Work especially well with the front desk, business office, fitness team, and management.
  • Demonstrate administrative excellence, following and communicating policy, completing paperwork accurately, and accurately representing promotions.
  • Assist at our front desk by greeting everyone who comes in, answering phones, and talking to members
  • Acquire leads by contacting, messaging, or emailing new potential members by engaging with them at local events or studio walk-ins
  • Provide excellent customer service to resolve the problems of members in an impartial and professional way
  • Supervise and manage studio-wide and external promotion campaigns – Assist with club events, open houses, community partnerships, and promotional campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Strong desire to achieve and surpass production targets – Self-motivated with a drive to meet and exceed goals
  • Consistently achieve sales goals while maintaining a consultative, member-first approach.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building
  • Previous customer service experience required for this position
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Positive attitude, coachable mindset, and team-first approach
  • High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
  • Outstanding organizational skills and time management
  • Preferred candidates will have 1 or more years of experience in sales or a similar related role
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are needed

Compensation

$40,000 - $65,000/year
