The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is well-versed in different types of massage and massage techniques, and is attentive to each client’s needs and physical condition. Responsibilities

Assemble products for the client’s skin and prep the massage table before they arrive
Evaluate each client’s physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment
Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development
Treat clients safely and effectively using the appropriate therapeutic massage techniques that meet their needs
Offer supplementary services or products that complement the client’s treatment plan

Qualifications

Prenatal experience, training, or willingness to learn to work on this demographic in a family practice setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must have experience in different types of massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, sports massage, Swedish massage, and reflexology
Completion of a massage therapy program preferred
Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent degree
Licensure if required by state and local law
