The Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing the firm’s marketing activities across multiple offices and practice areas. This person will work closely with firm leadership, attorneys, intake, outside vendors, and administrative staff to improve brand visibility, review generation, local SEO, social media presence, AI platforms, website content, and marketing follow-through.
We're looking for a strategic, creative, and highly analytical Marketing Operations Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts and position our firm as the clear market leader across search engines, AI platforms, and online client acquisition.
The ideal candidate is organized, polished, detail-oriented, comfortable with legal/professional services marketing, and able to turn attorney knowledge into clear, client-friendly content.
Reputation & Reviews
Coordinate and track review requests for attorneys, offices, and practice areas.
Help identify appropriate moments to request reviews from satisfied clients.
Draft and coordinate review responses.
Monitor Google, Facebook, Avvo, Justia, and other relevant online profiles.
Escalate negative reviews or reputation issues promptly.
Google Business Profile & Local Visibility
Maintain and update Google Business Profiles for firm locations.
Coordinate office photos, attorney photos, service descriptions, posts, FAQs, and business information.
Help ensure consistency across online directories, attorney profiles, and location pages.
Work with SEO vendors to support local search visibility.
Identify emerging AI and marketing technologies that provide competitive advantages.
Social Media & Content Coordination
Maintain a monthly content calendar.
Draft and schedule social media posts for Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and other appropriate platforms.
Repurpose blogs, attorney insights, FAQs, reviews, and videos into social and web content.
Coordinate attorney spotlights, firm news, community involvement, and educational posts.
Help turn attorney interviews or short notes into usable marketing content.
Website & Vendor Coordination
Lead all SEO, Local SEO, AI search optimization (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.), and content initiatives.
Manage and optimize Google Local Services Ads, Google Ads, and other paid digital campaigns.
Coordinate with outside vendors including website developers, advertising agencies, designers, and technology partners.
Track content updates, attorney bio updates, location page needs, practice page improvements, and campaign priorities.
Help ensure the website reflects the firm’s current attorneys, offices, services, and brand positioning.
Improve conversion rates across websites, landing pages, intake processes, and online client journeys.
Marketing Reporting & Project Management
Maintain basic monthly marketing reports, including leads, reviews, website activity, social activity, LSA/PPC performance, and campaign progress.
Analyze rankings, website traffic, lead quality, conversion rates, and return on investment.
Track marketing projects and follow up with internal team members and vendors.
Build reporting dashboards that allow leadership to measure marketing performance in real time.
Continuously test, measure, and improve every stage of our digital marketing funnel.
Attorney & Office Support
Coordinate with attorneys to develop high-value educational content, videos, and thought leadership.
Help support office-specific campaigns and community involvement.
Assist with sponsorships, events, speaking opportunities, and local visibility efforts.
2+ years of marketing, communications, legal marketing, professional services marketing, or similar experience.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Excellent organization and follow-through.
Comfortable working with attorneys, leadership, vendors, and administrative staff.
Experience with social media scheduling, Google Business Profile, website updates, email marketing, Canva, CRM tools, or project management tools preferred.
Prior law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with SEO, Google Ads, Local Services Ads, or online reviews is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple offices, projects, and priorities without constant supervision.
Experience in many of the following areas: AI search optimization and emerging search technologies, Experience, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Content strategy, Marketing automation, Website management (WordPress preferred), Reputation management, Data analytics and reporting

Compensation
$100,000+ depending on experience
