What to Expect
This is a highly accountable, hands-on role with responsibility for both marketing strategy and day-to-day execution.
You will:
Own the strategy, management, optimization, and reporting for paid advertising channels, including Google Ads, Local Services Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
Manage the firm’s SEO, local search, AI-search visibility, website content, technical performance, landing pages, and conversion improvements
Track marketing performance across the full client journey, from lead generation through consultation and hire
Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports covering lead volume, marketing spend, cost per qualified lead, attribution, and conversion performance
Maintain clean, reliable marketing and CRM data so leadership can make informed decisions
Lead the firm’s content strategy, including blogs, videos, guides, social media, newsletters, email campaigns, and client nurture sequences
Maintain brand consistency across advertising, digital platforms, events, and client communications
Work closely with intake and sales to improve lead quality, follow-up, messaging, and conversion
Audit and manage external marketing vendors while gradually bringing key marketing functions in-house
Develop a vendor-transition roadmap during the first 30 days, with responsibilities internalized progressively based on performance, bandwidth, and business needs
Build and maintain referral relationships, client-retention initiatives, events, sponsorships, webinars, seminars, and community-facing marketing programs
Participate in leadership meetings and quarterly planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and identifying new growth opportunities
Support the development and improvement of HubSpot and any other CRM or marketing systems used by the firm
Meet or exceed annual qualified-lead goals while maintaining cost efficiency and improving lead quality
Report directly to the Firm Owner and/or Firm Administrator and collaborate regularly with the firm’s fractional CMO
The first year will focus heavily on building a reliable marketing infrastructure, improving visibility into performance, strengthening lead generation, and thoughtfully reducing the firm’s dependence on outside agencies.
Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 annually (based on experience)
Requirements:
We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager who can think strategically, execute independently, and connect marketing activity directly to qualified leads, consultations, and new clients.
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of experience managing multi-channel marketing, preferably in a law firm, professional services, or another lead-generation environment
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related fields
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Google Local Services Ads, Meta advertising, retargeting, and paid social campaigns
Experience managing SEO, local search, AI-driven search optimization, website content, technical improvements, and conversion-rate optimization
The ability to analyze marketing performance using metrics such as lead volume, cost per qualified lead, conversion rates, channel attribution, and return on investment
Experience creating dashboards, maintaining accurate CRM data, and presenting actionable insights to leadership
Strong project-management skills and experience coordinating vendors, writers, designers, developers, and other marketing partners
Experience developing content calendars, email campaigns, newsletters, nurture sequences, landing pages, and client-facing marketing materials
Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Lawmatics, or similar systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively when challenges arise
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with firm leadership, intake, sales, vendors, and the firm’s fractional CMO
Experience in family law or legal marketing is strongly preferred.
Compensation
$85,000 - $110,000 annually based on experience
