We’re looking for a dependable, skilled, and technology-savvy Residential Construction Maintenance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate is an experienced all-around handyman who takes pride in quality workmanship, can work independently, and knows how to use mobile apps to document repair needs and provide accurate information for estimating and bidding jobs.

Where You’ll Work

• Single-family rental homes across the DFW metroplex, mostly the Fort Worth side

• Vacant homes between tenants (make-readies and turns), which is most of the work

• Occupied homes: repairs for residents and property managers. You’ll be professional and respectful around tenants, kids, and pets

• Investor rehabs and flips

You’ll drive job to job in your own vehicle, often visiting several homes in a day

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a true all-around professional who can walk into a property, identify what needs to be repaired, understand how to fix it, and communicate the scope of work clearly. You must be equally comfortable using your hands to complete quality repairs and using technology to document what needs to be done.

• Painting: Interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, caulking, touch-ups, and professional finishes.

• Drywall: Patching holes, repairing cracks, taping, mudding, sanding, and matching existing textures.

• General Handyman Work: Minor carpentry, trim repairs, door and hardware adjustments, fixture replacements, and other residential repairs.

• Property Maintenance: Inspect properties, identify deficiencies, assess repair needs, and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.

• Repair Documentation & Estimating Support: Use company apps and mobile software to document repair needs, take clear photos, record measurements, identify materials, and provide detailed notes so our team can prepare accurate repair bids.

• Technology & Communication: Enter information accurately into mobile applications, communicate findings promptly, and keep job records organized and up to date.

• Quality Control: Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure completed work meets company standards.

• Proven experience in residential construction, maintenance, painting, drywall, and general handyman repairs.

• Strong painting and drywall finishing skills, including texture matching.

• Tech-savvy and comfortable using smartphone apps, mobile software, and digital reporting tools.

• Ability to accurately document repair scopes, take photos, record measurements, and identify materials needed for repairs.

• Must have your own tools and reliable transportation.

• Comfortable working in occupied homes around tenants and pets.

• Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently.

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
