Why This Role Matters
A strong House Manager is essential to the integrity of a recovery residence. This position requires someone who leads by example, upholds standards consistently, and helps create an environment where men can practice the habits of recovery every day.
If you are reliable, grounded in recovery principles, and ready to take on meaningful on-site leadership, we encourage you to apply.

Free on-site housing (utilities and household essentials covered).
Opportunity to develop meaningful leadership experience within the recovery community.
The chance to directly impact the recovery and stability of men in early sobriety.
Professional growth through hands-on responsibility for house operations, accountability systems, and community culture.
Guest Oversight & Recovery Support
Facilitate guest check-ins, meeting attendance, and overall program compliance, following up promptly on missed requirements.
Hold regular accountability conversations with guests regarding progress, recovery, and conduct.
Enforce house rules, curfew, chores, cleanliness standards, and overall guest expectations.
Monitor the culture and safety of the home, identifying and escalating concerns such as relapse indicators, conflict, behavioral issues, or safety risks.
Conduct or oversee drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with program policy and document results.
Administration & Documentation
Maintain accurate, confidential guest records, including rosters, onboarding documentation, incident reports, screening logs, dues tracking, and house meeting notes.
Complete all guest onboarding and required administrative documentation accurately and on time.
Order house supplies and submit maintenance requests as needed.
Maintain documentation required for NARR/CTARR certification, audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Document policy violations, warnings, and discharge recommendations according to program procedures while maintaining guest confidentiality.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Recognize signs of relapse and respond according to established protocols, escalating to leadership or emergency services when appropriate.
Ensure overdose response resources (including naloxone, where applicable) are accessible, and guests are familiar with response procedures.
Maintain a safe living environment, including required safety equipment, emergency procedures, and routine safety standards.
Minimum of 9 months of continuous sobriety & membership in a 12-step program.
Lived or professional experience in recovery environments strongly preferred.
Reliability, sound judgment, and comfort holding accountability and conflict conversations.
Ability to set and maintain healthy boundaries while remaining supportive.
Basic comfort with mobile apps for resident tracking, ordering, and maintenance requests.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Commitment to fostering a structured, recovery-focused culture.
