Make a Difference. Grow Your Career. Be Part of Something Bigger.

Collins Legal Group is seeking an experienced, driven, and compassionate Litigation Paralegal to join our growing legal team.

This role is for someone who believes being a paralegal is more than managing files and meeting deadlines. It is for someone who understands that behind every case is a person, a family, and a story—and that the work we do can genuinely change someone's life.

Perhaps a personal experience sparked your interest in the legal system. Maybe you've seen firsthand how difficult it can be for people to navigate the legal process and want to be part of creating change. Or perhaps you already know that a career in law is where you belong.

Whatever brought you here, passion matters.

The right person for this position is someone who takes pride in doing excellent work, isn't intimidated by a demanding caseload, and genuinely enjoys solving problems. Someone who can move quickly without sacrificing accuracy, remain calm when things get challenging, and treat every client with patience, empathy, and respect.

You will work closely with attorneys and clients throughout all stages of litigation, taking ownership of your responsibilities while becoming an integral part of a team that values collaboration, growth, accountability, and a strong company culture.

This is a fast-paced, in-office position for someone who wants to be involved, make an impact, and grow with a firm that believes in its people and its community.

Compensation: Starting at $50,000

What You'll Do

  • Manage a diverse, high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy, organization, and strict attention to deadlines.

  • Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys throughout all stages of a case, including legal research, discovery, pleadings, motions, client interviews, and case preparation.

  • Draft, prepare, and file legal documents in State and Federal courts while maintaining organized case files, calendars, and case management systems.

  • Conduct factual and legal research, organize and summarize medical records and case materials, and assist attorneys with case strategy and preparation.

  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, courts, vendors, and other parties while building strong and trusting client relationships.

  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing evidence, pleadings, exhibits, and trial materials, while proactively anticipating attorney needs and identifying potential issues.

  • Utilize legal technology and case management software while contributing to a collaborative firm culture through teamwork, firm initiatives, community involvement, and a commitment to exceptional client service.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely cares about the clients and team they support. You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have 3+ years of legal experience, preferably in Personal Injury, Family Law, Criminal Law, or another litigation-focused practice, with experience managing a substantial caseload.

  • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

  • Take ownership of your work, anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.

  • Have strong legal research, writing, analytical, and document-preparation skills, along with experience using legal technology or case management software such as MyCase.

  • Communicate confidently and professionally while bringing empathy, patience, and strong conflict-resolution skills to interactions with clients and colleagues.

  • Bring a background in customer service, leadership, management, or other people-focused roles in addition to your legal experience.

  • Be dependable, adaptable, and committed to continuous growth, teamwork, and contributing to a positive firm culture through collaboration, community involvement, and celebrating the success of those around you.

You Might Be the Person We're Looking For If...

You are the person who sees a problem and immediately starts thinking about how to solve it. One who can have ten things on their desk, prioritize what matters most, and still make a client feel heard. You don’t mind a challenging day because you know the work matters, you are curious about the law, and excited to keep learning.

You want to be surrounded by people who care about doing excellent work, not just getting through the day. You want your career to have purpose, whether your ultimate goal is to become an outstanding paralegal, grow into a leadership role, or eventually attend law school and become an attorney. And you believe that being part of a great team means more than showing up.

It means getting involved, supporting one another, celebrating together, and giving back to the community we serve.

If that sounds like you, we want to meet you.
