We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join our growing team.

Our ideal candidate is a proactive professional who takes ownership of their cases, anticipates attorneys' needs, and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment. As a member of our boutique firm, you will work closely with attorneys and play an integral role in moving cases from the filing of a lawsuit through trial and resolution.

Litigation and Case Management

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters, including motor vehicle collisions, trucking accidents, premises liability, and other negligence claims.

  • Prepare, draft, and file complaints, answers, motions, notices, subpoenas, and other litigation documents.

  • Maintain litigation calendars and track all court deadlines, discovery deadlines, depositions, hearings, and trial dates.

  • Coordinate service of process and monitor the status of service on all defendants.

  • Review court orders and ensure compliance with all applicable deadlines.

  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files.

Discovery and Case Development

  • Draft and prepare interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and other discovery documents.

  • Assist attorneys with preparing responses to discovery requests and gathering supporting documentation from clients.

  • Review and organize discovery responses, identify deficiencies, and prepare follow-up correspondence.

  • Coordinate depositions, including scheduling witnesses, court reporters, videographers, and interpreters.

  • Prepare deposition notices, subpoenas, and related exhibits.

  • Summarize deposition transcripts and identify important testimony for attorney review.

  • Assist with obtaining and organizing medical records, medical bills, employment records, and other evidence.

Trial Preparation and Support

  • Assist attorneys in preparing cases for mediation, hearings, and trial.

  • Prepare trial notebooks, witness lists, exhibit lists, deposition designations, and trial exhibits.

  • Organize and maintain evidence, including photographs, videos, medical records, and demonstrative exhibits.

  • Coordinate witness appearances, expert scheduling, and trial logistics.

  • Provide litigation support during trial, as needed.

Client Communication and Case Coordination

  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding litigation updates, discovery obligations, depositions, and upcoming court proceedings.

  • Assist clients with preparing for depositions and responding to discovery requests under attorney supervision.

  • Communicate professionally with opposing counsel, court personnel, expert witnesses, and other parties.

  • Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure cases progress efficiently.

Required

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience, preferably representing plaintiffs.

  • Experience drafting pleadings, preparing discovery, and managing litigation deadlines.

  • Working knowledge of Georgia civil litigation procedures and court filing requirements.

  • Experience with electronic court filing systems, including Georgia's e-filing platforms.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Experience using legal case management software.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.

  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred

  • Experience preparing personal injury cases for trial.

  • Familiarity with Georgia's Civil Practice Act and Uniform Superior Court Rules.

  • Experience reviewing medical records and preparing medical chronologies and summaries.

  • Experience with premises liability and commercial trucking litigation.

  • Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies.

Compensation

$65,000+
