Unleash your potential with a competitive starting base salary of $120,000, plus bonuses that reflect your exceptional skills and experience, providing the freedom to pursue your passions. In addition to your salary, you will be bonused on any cases you generate, as well as other incentive structures that can be tailored to fit your particular goals (more money, more work-life balance, etc).

• Performance bonuses: Your results are rewarded. Earn bonuses based on your performance and collections, so the quality and efficiency of your work show up in your paycheck.

• Origination bonuses: Bring in a client and you share in the reward. You earn an additional bonus on any case you originate and bring into the firm.

• Hybrid work: three days in our Land O’ Lakes office and up to two days remote.

• A billable target of 1,750 hours per year, a target we set to be competitive and to leave room for quality work and for the client service our reputation depends on.

What You’ll Do

Your days will be spent on work that matters to clients and to your career:

• Run your own cases, start to finish: You’ll take on meaningful autonomy in matters from the first strategy conversation through resolution in collaboration with one of the managing attorneys for the Firm.

• Take on business and real estate disputes: Business and commercial disputes and litigation, and real estate disputes and litigation. These are matters that carry real weight for the clients we serve, and the issues are rarely simple.

• Do work you’re proud to put your name on: Dig deep into the law, find every issue and defense, and write the pleadings, motions, and briefs that turn a client’s problem into a solution.

• Be the advisor clients trust: Clients come to us with complex problems and want clear answers. You’ll explain where their case stands, what it means, and what to do next, in plain language, so they move forward with confidence.

• Courtroom exposure: You will be negotiating offers and litigating cases. Your preparation is critical, but your ability to think on your feet and communicate well is tantamount to your success in this position.

• Collaborate: You will be working directly with one of the managing attorneys, Mike Bayern, and our legal team. Organization and a clear strategy on each case will be vital. You’ll work alongside our legal staff, so you can spend your time practicing law and moving your cases forward.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience; 3+ years considered for exceptional candidates.

• Exceptional attention to detail: Thrive under pressure, expertly managing multiple cases without sacrificing the quality and attention to detail that sets you apart.

• A client-service mindset: you communicate clearly and treat every client’s problem as your own.

• Law firm billing experience: at least 1 year, ideally in your most recent role.

• Professionalism and teachability: employing feedback to keep getting better. Embody the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct, always championing justice and fairness.

• Demonstrate your unwavering commitment to justice by holding a valid admission to the Florida bar and maintaining a stellar professional standing.

• Local to the Land O’ Lakes area and able to be in the office three days a week.
