Practice Independently. Never Practice Alone.
Location: 100% Remote or Hybrid (Encino, Lancaster, or Riverside)
Schedule: Part-Time with the opportunity to transition into Full-Time
Compensation: $57–67 per hour (W-2 Employee)

Caseload & Accountability Expectations
At Find Your Balance, accountability supports both clinician success and quality client care.
Licensed clinicians are expected to:
- Maintain a minimum average caseload of 13 completed clinical sessions per week (26 per pay period)
- Maintain sufficient appointment availability (16-20 client bookings per week) to support referrals, client continuity, and scheduling needs
- Complete all clinical documentation within 24 hours of each session
- Communicate proactively regarding schedule changes, availability, and planned time off
- Maintain professionalism, ethical practice, and timely communication with clients and colleagues
- Participate in consultation and organizational communication as appropriate

Part-Time Benefits
All part-time clinicians receive:
- Accrued paid sick leave (up to 40 hours annually, in accordance with California law)

Additional Full-Time Benefits
Once eligible for full-time employment, clinicians also receive:

Full-time benefits become available after 60 days of eligibility.

Responsibilities
Your Role
As a Licensed Clinician, you'll provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy while maintaining the autonomy and professional judgment expected of an independently licensed clinician.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults through secure telehealth or hybrid services
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's clinical needs
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust interventions when clinically appropriate
- Develop safety plans and respond appropriately to crises and mandated reporting requirements
- Complete, accurate, insurance-compliant documentation within 24 hours of each client session
- Collaborate professionally with fellow clinicians, psychiatric providers, and administrative staff
- Communicate respectfully and proactively with clients and team members
- Maintain ethical practice standards in accordance with California licensing board regulations
- Maintain a confidential, secure, and distraction-free workspace for telehealth services
Responsibilities may evolve as our organization continues to grow.
- Assess patients’ mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members
- Refer patients and family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary
- Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients
Qualifications
Qualifications
We're looking for clinicians who value excellence, professionalism, and collaboration.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Active, unrestricted California license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist)
- California residency
- Experience providing psychotherapy services
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, IFS, or other evidence-based modalities
- Experience with crisis assessment and mandated reporting
- Previous telehealth experience preferred
- Prior insurance credentialing experience preferred
- Bilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply
For clinicians interested in the hybrid model:
- Ability to commute to our Encino, Lancaster, or Riverside office
- Availability to provide 5–6 in-person sessions during scheduled in-office days
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work; we prefer a master’s degree
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist
- Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent
- Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation
$57 - $67/hour
