Maxie Price Chevrolet is looking for an experienced, highly skilled Level A GM Technician to join our growing Service Department. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in their work, can accurately diagnose complex vehicle concerns, and wants to be part of a professional, high-production shop.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced GM technician who wants consistent work, strong earning potential, and a shop that values quality and productivity.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated Level A technician who can take a vehicle from diagnosis to completed repair with minimal supervision. You should be comfortable tackling difficult diagnostic problems, helping less-experienced technicians when needed, and maintaining a high level of productivity without sacrificing repair quality.

What You'll Do

• Perform accurate diagnosis and repair of Chevrolet and GM vehicles.

• Diagnose complex electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, HVAC, and network-related concerns.

• Perform major repairs including engine, transmission, suspension, steering, electrical, and fuel system repairs.

• Complete GM warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM repair procedures and dealership standards.

• Utilize GM diagnostic equipment, service information, wiring diagrams, and other diagnostic resources.

• Perform thorough inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.

• Clearly document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and recommended repairs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of repair quality.

• Assist and mentor other technicians when needed.

• Experienced GM/ASE technician with strong diagnostic skills.

• GM dealership experience preferred.

• Ability to diagnose difficult electrical and mechanical concerns independently.

• Strong understanding of GM vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures.

• Ability to efficiently use scan tools, service information, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment.

• Must be able to accurately diagnose a concern before replacing parts.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time.

• Dependable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Own the majority of the tools to perform Level A repairs.
