Pemberton Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking an organized self-starter to join our team as a Legal Case Manager and work alongside our team to achieve the best possible result for clients. We are looking for a Case Manager to join our newly opened Eau Claire, Wisconsin office! This position can be in-office or hybrid, and interested candidates should note this in their cover letter outlining their interest in the role!

Responsibilities

Support attorneys in all aspects of Case Management, including but not limited to:

  • Managing and overseeing a high volume of personal injury cases from inception to resolution
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, and addressing their concerns
  • Gathering and organizing case-related documents, including medical records, accident reports, and insurance information
  • Coordinating with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the case
  • Assisting attorneys with the preparation of legal documents, such as demand letters
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate case files in the firm's case management system
  • Scheduling and facilitating client appointments and calls with attorneys
  • Monitoring case progress and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Providing administrative support to attorneys and paralegals as needed
  • Assisting the phone answering department as needed, transferring calls, and taking messages
Qualifications


  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, compassion, and empathy towards clients
  • Works well with others and is a team player
  • Be a self-starter and able to effectively manage multiple matters at once
  • Comfortable with computer programs, such as spreadsheet presentation, word processing, and case management software
  • High school diploma is required - 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Previous case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency
  • Exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral are needed
Compensation
$17 - $20 hourly
