Our national boutique personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced BI LINGUAL SPANISH/ENGLISH, organized self-starter to join our team as a legal case manager and work alongside attorneys and other case managers on the team to achieve clients’ goals. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated.

Our ideal applicant will have experience in case management and be skilled at onboarding new clients, drafting prelitigation documents, working with medical providers, and calendaring. Responsibilities

Aid attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as requested
Organize and maintain all case files, and information concerning engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with the law firm policies
Provide recommendations to attorneys with regard to cost and time-effective ways to accomplish the client’s goals
Inform clients and outside counsel on case status as requested
Complete legal research to obtain documentation regarding medical records, health insurance, social security, and medical providers

Qualifications

Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Extensive experience conducting legal research, and drafting legal documents is essential
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable - High school diploma is required
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software
Case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal secretary, paralegal, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency
Exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral are needed

Compensation

$50,000 - $70,000 yearly
