Legal Case Manager | Family Law

Kimbrough Family Law is looking for a highly organized Legal Case Manager to help oversee all aspects of case management and ensure our clients receive an exceptional experience.

The ideal candidate has experience managing case files, drafting legal documents, coordinating deadlines, conducting legal research, and maintaining accurate records. This role is critical to keeping cases moving forward efficiently while serving as a trusted resource for both clients and attorneys.

Responsibilities

Aid attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as requested
Communicate case status with clients and outside counsel as requested
Examine legal documents to assure all legal requirements have been met
Interface with staff, attorneys, and outside vendors to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met
Organize and maintain all case files, and information concerning engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with the law firm policies

Qualifications

Case management process experience is needed - preferably as a Family Law Case Manager, or related jobs such as legal secretary, paralegal, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency

Comfortable with computer programs, such as spreadsheet presentation, word processing, and case management software
Experience drafting legal documents and conducting legal research is vital
Exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral are needed
Be a self-starter and able to effectively manage multiple matters at once

Compensation

$70,000 - $80,000
