Legal Assistant- Settlement Department (Personal Injury)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Personal Injury Settlement team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and comfortable working with numbers while managing a fast-paced caseload.

• Coordinate and manage the settlement process to ensure timely and accurate resolution of personal injury cases.
• Prepare and organize legal documents, correspondence, and reports to support the settlement team effectively.
• Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers to gather necessary information and updates.
• Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documentation is current and easily accessible for the team.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for negotiations by compiling relevant case details and settlement figures.
• Track and monitor deadlines, ensuring all tasks are completed promptly to maintain the flow of the settlement process.
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency.

• Experience in a legal assistant role, preferably within personal injury or settlement departments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Proven track record of organizing and maintaining comprehensive case files with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
• Proficiency in preparing and organizing legal documents, correspondence, and reports to support team objectives.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures, enhancing your ability to assist attorneys in case preparations.
• Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions that boost team efficiency.
