Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform highly diversified duties for the general maintenance and repair of a life science campus to maintain buildings to performance standards. Includes minor electrical (i.e., ballasts), plumbing, painting, grounds keeping, and carpentry work.
• Respond to daily work orders and communicate accordingly to resolve work order issues.
• Maintain working knowledge of emergency shut-offs, timers, electrical panels, fire panels, sprinklers, generators, and all mechanical rooms.
• Direct/assist 3rd party vendors when appropriate. Assist contractors with access.
• Parking lot maintenance areas including curbs, drive lanes and sidewalks. Police building and grounds to maintain pristine environment. Identify areas that may be a potential safety, liability or security risk. Report any concerns.
• Experience in refrigeration systems, including troubleshooting, installation, and repairs, with the ability to manage complex refrigeration installations in commercial settings.

• Must have 5+ years of experience in Commercial Maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
