The Laundry Attendant is primarily responsible for performing tasks such as washing, drying, and folding linens according to company quality standards. An attendant is often responsible for sorting items by color, weight and fabric types and making sure items are washed in the proper machine cycle by performing the following duties.
- Perform additional laundry services when necessary.
- Sort linens by type, fabric, and color to prepare for proper washing cycles.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate replenishment needs to management.
- Being willing to help in other areas of the hotel if needed.
- Load laundry machines with appropriate cleaning agents and operate according to instructions.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- No prior experience is required; all levels of applicants are welcome.
Compensation
$13 hourly
