Our next hire has the technical skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various electrical problems, understands the importance of and ensures all work adheres to national and local safety codes, and has completed all training, apprenticeship, and licensing requirements. Responsibilities

Locate and correct electrical problems, including component installation and replacement
Test newly installed electrical components to ensure proper function
Make sure the wiring is in accordance with all building codes and safety regulations
Perform maintenance and installation of electrical equipment in homes, businesses, and factories
Understand and employ electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs
Ability to speak well and deal effectively with people, including tact and courtesy
Valid electrician license is required
Associate’s degree from an electrician program at a technical school is required

Compensation

$52,000 - $72,800 yearly
