Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Build relationships and grow a client base through networking and referrals
Help clients make informed financial decisions
Create customized strategies for protection, retirement, and wealth accumulation
Continue developing your skills through training and professional development

Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking
Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales
Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio
Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs
Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree
Sales experience preferred – enterprising mindset
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-motivated individuals
Strong communicators who enjoy helping others
Coachable professionals with a growth mindset
People seeking a long-term career with upside potential
Must live in the Lubbock area

Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial
Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole
Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license
High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonus

Compensation

$68,500 - $120,000 yearly
