About Find Your Balance

Find Your Balance, Center for Growth & Change Inc. (FYBC) is a growing behavioral health group practice providing psychotherapy and psychiatric services throughout California. As our organization continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented HR & Payroll Specialist to oversee the day-to-day human resources and payroll functions of our practice.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable managing the full employee lifecycle while also taking ownership of payroll processing and administration. The ideal candidate has strong working knowledge of California employment and wage-and-hour laws, experience processing payroll through ADP, and the ability to independently manage HR and payroll processes in a growing organization.

Experience working within a healthcare, behavioral health, mental health, or other professional services organization is highly preferred.

What We're Looking For

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys being the person who makes sure the details are handled correctly.

You are proactive rather than reactive, comfortable working independently, and able to identify potential payroll or HR issues before they become larger problems. You understand that payroll and HR require both accuracy and urgency, particularly when dealing with employee compensation, benefits, leaves, onboarding, and separations.

You are also comfortable working in a growing organization where processes continue to evolve. You can create structure, improve workflows, maintain organized documentation, and communicate clearly with both employees and leadership.

Why Join FYBC?

FYBC is a growing behavioral health organization committed to providing accessible, high-quality mental health care throughout California. This role will have the opportunity to help strengthen the HR and payroll infrastructure that supports our clinicians, administrative team, and continued organizational growth.

We are looking for someone who wants to take genuine ownership of their area, develop efficient and compliant processes, and become a trusted resource for both employees and leadership.

Find Your Balance, Center for Growth & Change Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees in accordance with applicable federal and California law. Reasonable accommodations are available to qualified applicants with disabilities during the application and hiring process.
