Baymont by Wyndham Ocala Suites is seeking a reliable, hardworking Houseman to support our housekeeping and maintenance teams. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our hotel remains clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically active, and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• Assist housekeeping staff with room cleaning and turnover needs
• Deliver linens, towels, and housekeeping supplies throughout the hotel
• Collect and transport dirty linens to the laundry area
• Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, elevators, lobby, breakfast area, and other public spaces
• Remove trash from guest rooms and common areas
• Respond promptly to guest requests such as extra towels, bedding, or amenities
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed
• Set up and break down meeting rooms or special event areas when required
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and lost-and-found items
• Help maintain the inventory of housekeeping supplies
• Follow all hotel safety, cleanliness, and guest service standards

• Previous hotel housekeeping or housekeeping support experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs for extended periods

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent customer service skills

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

This position is at an exterior corridor hotel. Duties require working throughout the entire hotel property, including guest rooms, exterior corridors, parking areas, laundry facilities, and common areas. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors for extended periods as needed. This is a physically demanding position that requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and prolonged standing throughout the workday.
