The Housekeeping Supervisor is primarily responsible for ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness are maintained throughout the hotel. This leader manages the housekeeping and laundry departments efficiently and controls costs by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to guest concerns or requests related to housekeeping services.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional cleanliness in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to promote a positive work environment and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene protocols across the property.
- Oversee inventory and supply management, ensuring adequate stock levels while adhering to budget guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all levels.
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Compensation
$19 - $21/hour
