About the Role

We’re a highly regarded property in our area looking for a motivated, organized, and dependable team member to join our Housekeeping Department as a Full-Time Housekeeping Assistant / Room Attendant.

You’ll spend 3 days a week working as a Room Attendant by cleaning and preparing guest rooms, and 2 days working alongside our Housekeeping Supervisor to run the department. That means building room assignments, inspecting rooms, managing supplies, and helping keep the team on track.

Responsibilities will include assisting with daily housekeeping operations, helping maintain cleanliness and quality standards, making beds, vacuuming and mopping, restocking guest amenities, changing linens, and completing other general housekeeping duties. What you'll do on support days

• Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor with daily housekeeping operations and maintaining hotel cleanliness standards

• Assist with room assignments, inspections, supplies, and other housekeeping tasks as needed

• Track and restock supplies and linens

• Help the supervisor handle call-outs, guest requests, and daily priorities

What you’ll do on room attendant days

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to Fairfield standards prior to guest arrival

• Make beds, vacuum, mop, dust, restock guest amenities, and complete laundry as needed

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as hallways, public restrooms, and the hotel lobby

• Document rooms cleaned and report lost items, damage, or needed repairs

• Help guests with questions and requests during their stay

What we are looking for

• Hotel housekeeping experience, preferred

• Good time management and clear communication

• Strong eye for detail and pride in your work

• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products

• Comfortable giving feedback to coworkers in a respectful way

• Able to stand for long periods, push carts, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
