Server & Cook – EVEN Hotel Waco

EVEN Hotel Waco is looking for reliable and experienced Servers and Cooks to join our team. Candidates should have previous food and beverage experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to provide excellent service and quality food to our guests.

Shift Hours:

Breakfast: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Dinner: 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM
BEO Events: Must be available to work when Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) are scheduled.

Requirements:

Previous food and beverage experience
Availability to work weekends
Flexible schedule for BEO events and scheduled functions
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Commitment to cleanliness, food quality, and guest satisfaction

Responsibilities

Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests
Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities
Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations

Qualifications

Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
Previous experience working in food service is preferred
Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members

Compensation

$14 - $16 hourly
