The Hotel Senior Sales Manager drives revenue growth by soliciting new group, corporate, and event business, managing key client accounts, and implementing strategic sales plans.

• Business Development & Prospecting: Proactively solicit new business through cold calling, outside sales calls, and networking.

• Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, tour operators, and repeat clients to maximize retention and lifetime value.

• Proposals & Negotiations: Prepare custom proposals, conduct property site inspections, negotiate room rates, and close contracts within established hotel guidelines.

• Revenue Strategy & Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Revenue Management, Operations, and Catering teams to align group sales mixes with RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) and occupancy goals.

• Leadership & Mentorship: Assist or guide junior sales managers, represent the property at industry trade shows, and track sales pipeline data in CRM systems.

• Education: A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of progressive hotel group, corporate, or conference sales experience.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and CRM platforms (such as Delphi FDC or brand-specific sales tools).

• Core Competencies: Strong negotiation, cold-prospecting, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.
