You'll be in charge of developing our sales strategy and goals, training and assessing our sales force, collaborating with sales managers, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business from various hotel sectors. Responsibilities
- Implement a strategic plan that aligns with revenue management and hotel objectives to assist the sales staff in meeting and exceeding room booking goals
- Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations
- Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast
- Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenses
- Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers
Qualifications
- Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
- Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills
- Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required
- We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required
Compensation
$90,000 - $110,000/year
