The hotel preventive maintenance technician performs scheduled inspections, routine servicing, and minor repairs on building systems, guest rooms, and equipment. The primary goal is to prevent sudden breakdowns, ensure optimal guest comfort, and maintain property safety and brand standards.

• Room Inspections: Conduct routine checks on HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical fixtures in guest rooms.
• System Servicing: Change filters, lubricate moving parts, adjust thermostats, and tighten belts on major equipment.
• Minor Repairs: Patch drywall, paint surfaces, replace lightbulbs, and fix leaky faucets.
• Equipment Upkeep: Maintain pool chemicals, service elevators, and troubleshoot security hardware.
• Work Orders: Prioritize day-to-day requests and log completed maintenance activities.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce fire codes, handle hazardous chemicals, and report major hazards to management.

• Experience: 1-3 years in building maintenance, general contracting, or a related trade.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
