Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a key contributor to our operations team, the Chief Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining brand standards and regulatory compliance while driving high-quality performance across all maintenance functions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
Inspect and evaluate building systems to identify required maintenance, repairs, or system upgrades.
Act as the primary contact for brand partners, ensuring alignment with current standards and protocols.

Qualifications

Strong leadership skills with experience in staff development, evaluations, and scheduling.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking or work order systems.
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex maintenance issues.
Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance experience.

Compensation

$16 - $20/hour
