Join our team at the Marriott Rochester Airport as our Hotel Human Resources Manager.

We’re in search of a highly motivated, people-friendly, organized human resources manager to lead our HR department. You will oversee all aspects of employee relations, including recruiting, onboarding, and training, play a key role in strategic planning and business administration, and ensure we are in compliance with the most recent employment laws. Ideal candidates are natural leaders, decision-makers, and team players.

Responsibilities

Enact and implement human resources programs including benefits, compensation, company evaluation, and training
Act as the bridge between employees and managers and offer advice on key issues such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
Find qualified candidates, interview top talent, and onboard and train new employees
Review and advise on organizational policies, decision-making, and strategic planning for business administration and the annual budget
Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, and advise on improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business management, HR management or related major
Candidates should be excellent leaders and communicators with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
3-5 years of experience as an HR manager, upper-level HR generalist or in a senior position in HR management
Possess an SHRM certification or certification from a similar institute

Compensation

$65,000 - $85,000/year
