The Housekeeping Supervisor is primarily responsible for ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the hotel. This leader manages the housekeeping and laundry departments efficiently and controls costs by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Complete and maintain accurate inventory records for housekeeping supplies to meet operational needs.
- Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public spaces.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure an exceptional stay experience.
Qualifications
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Proficiency in property management systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all levels.
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.
Compensation
$10 - $13/hour
