You will lead our housekeeping team, ensure their work meets our high standards of cleanliness, and go above and beyond guest expectations to achieve that “wow” factor for repeat business.   • Guest Service-handles all guest interactions with professionalism and purpose

  • Projects a professional image of the hotel (dress, appearance, etc.)

  • Has a Friendly, personable style with guests. Anticipates customers' needs before they ask

  • Responds promptly and follows through on guest complaints in an effective and friendly manner

  • Recognizes and rewards effective guest service in housekeeping staff

  • Exceeds guest expectations for service

  • Meets or exceeds department guest service feedback/complaint goals. Reviews guest comment cards and complaint letters at department meetings

  • Manages guest service problems with minimum assistance from leadership. Informs supervisor of serious issues

  • Manages room cleaning operations to ensure methods meet company and brand standards. Keeps room cleaning deficiencies to a minimum

  • Personally inspects rooms and public areas

  • Monitors labor for the day, ensuring productivity standards remain on track

  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED
  • The ideal applicant is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of environmental services (EVS) including cleaning processes and how to use a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • 2+ years of hospitality or guest services experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior role in the housekeeping department

Compensation

$19.50 - $20.50 hourly
