Regional Director of Hotel Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director of Hotel Operations to oversee and lead multiple hotel properties in the Denver, CO area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing profitability, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction to hotel general managers and their teams to achieve operational goals.
Oversee daily operations of multiple hotel properties, ensuring compliance with brand standards and company policies.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve guest satisfaction, increase revenue, and control costs.
Monitor financial performance, analyze reports, and take corrective actions to meet budgetary objectives.
Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives to build high-performing teams.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to optimize market positioning and drive business growth.
Ensure all properties maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and maintenance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, vendors, and community partners.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in hotel operations, with at least 3 years in a multi-property leadership role.
Proven track record of managing multiple hotel locations successfully.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel frequently within the region.
Proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Passion for delivering outstanding guest service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Screen applicants, hire and train new staff, and manage hotel operations personnel to ensure all departments function smoothly

Maintain complete knowledge of the hotel's inner workings, including room rates, rooms operations, hotel policies, availability, and profitability strategies
Oversee budget assets such as purchase journals, expenditure, capital needs, labor, and quarterly reporting for all departments

Qualifications

Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
5+ years of experience in the hospitality field, preferably in a full-service hotel
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
This position requires prior experience managing a team in a hospitality or hotel management role
