Our busy hotel is looking for a detail-oriented person to set up and take down our breakfast buffet, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are always available. You'll also need to walk throughout the dining area, refilling coffee and beverages and cleaning up used plates and utensils. Responsibilities

Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
Maintain the breakfast area by cleaning tables, chairs, and buffet counter, and empty trash as needed
Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary
Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment
Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner

Qualifications

Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
Food service industry experience is highly desired
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)

Compensation

$15.50 - $16.50 hourly
