Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude.   • Responsible for inventory, ordering and stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer. Maintains an inventory of glassware and promptly communicates any shortages to management.
  • Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations
  • Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
  • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
  • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system
  • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
  • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
  • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills

Compensation

$11 hourly + gratuities
