We're searching for an experienced assistant general manager to help our general manager plan and oversee the hotel's day-to-day operations. When the general manager is unavailable, you will be in charge of supervising personnel, dealing with client problems, and ensuring that our customers enjoy a 5-star experience. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service while adhering to hotel budget and quality standards. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management and three years of managerial experience in the hospitality business are strongly preferred. Responsibilities

Lead daily operations to ensure seamless guest experiences and uphold our 5-star standards.
Collaborate with the general manager to implement strategies that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Address and resolve guest inquiries and issues promptly, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.
Monitor and manage hotel budgets, ensuring financial goals are met while maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate with department heads to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
Oversee staff training and development, empowering team members to grow and excel in their roles.

Propose adjustments that will increase hotel profitability by assessing department performance and identifying issue areas
Verify that all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as any business or brand-specific policies and procedures, are followed
Support the general manager in the daily operation of the hotel to ensure that all guest service standards are met

Qualifications

Ability to propose and implement strategies that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Proven track record of supervising and motivating teams to achieve high performance and morale.
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
Ability to manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial goals are met while maintaining quality standards.
Experience in resolving guest inquiries and issues promptly, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.
Ability to collaborate with department heads to streamline processes and improve service delivery, enhancing overall guest experience.

Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
A proven record of experience managing a team, preferably in a hospitality role, is required
Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience

Compensation

$50,000 - $60,000 yearly
