Are you a driven leader who thrives on providing 5-star service to hotel guests? You could be the perfect fit for our next assistant general manager position! We need an experienced hospitality expert who can work with our general manager on daily operations and take on their responsibilities, such as managing staff and department operations, while they are not available. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in hospitality management and a strong desire to provide great customer service.   • Verify that all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as any business or brand-specific policies and procedures, are followed
  • Consult with the general manager to ensure that all guest service standards are met daily
  • Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support
  • Collaborate with department heads and the general manager to develop an annual budget, and assess performance throughout the year, making modifications as needed to preserve profitability
  • Analyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for hotel operations
  • Showcase exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
  • Must have at least 3 or more years of experience in the hospitality field
  • You must have previous experience in a manager role overseeing a team, preferably in a hospitality role
  • You must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, or a related field
